IBM Award of Scientific Excellence at PAAMS'16

We received an IBM Demonstration Award at the International Conference on Practical Applications of Agents and Multi-Agent Systems (PAAMS 2016) for our work entitled: Smart Grid Demonstration Platform for Renewable Energy Exchange (Mihail Mihaylov, Iván S. Razo-Zapata, Roxana Rădulescu, Sergio Jurado, Narcis Avellana and Ann Nowé).

Our work on Integration of load shifting and storage to reduce gray energy demand (Iván S. Razo-Zapata, Mihail Mihaylov and Ann Nowé) was nominated for the best paper award at the 5th International Conference on Smart Cities and Green ICT Systems (SMARTGREENS'16)

Best Demo at AAMAS'15

Best Demonstration at the International Conference on Autonomous Agents and Multiagent Systems (AAMAS 2015) for the work entitled: SCANERGY: a Scalable and Modular System for Energy Trading between Prosumers.
Our demo implemented in hardware the NRG-X-Change scheme to trade energy using NRGcoin, which is a cryptocurrency inspired by Bitcoin. The paper is available here.
