In time you'll find more photos here from our previous trips. This will give you a preview of some of the things you will be seeing if you come along with us. If you have never been to Israel before I guarantee that as a believer, you will come back a changed person and that your Bible reading will never be the same again. Seeing the Land with your own eyes makes the Bible come alive.
We hope you'll join us!
Dinner preparations as guests of "Abraham" in a Bedouin tent
A spectacular scale model of the ancient Old City and the Temple
Susan shares details with us at the White Synagogue in Capernaum. ("White" due to the stones.) This was a synagogue in which Jesus would have visited. It is only 100 yards from Peter's home which has been found there in Capernaum.
Below an ancient olive tree in the Garden of Gethsemane. Within eyesight of this tree is the Temple Mount just a couple hundred yards to the west across the street through the Kidron Valley. It was here that it would seem that David prophesied in Psalm 23 that Jesus would pray, "Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil."
As Jesus prayed the the Garden he was literally in the "valley of the shadow of death."
Under ground in the Rabbi's tunnel just to the north of the Western Wall, Susan tells us about the amazing architecture of the Temple Mount. The stone behind her with the many small rectangles on its side, is all one stone, massively larger than any stone in the pyramids.
