This book is more overview and "travel guide" in nature as opposed to being heavy in Christian teaching about the sites. Helpful in getting a sense of the land and culture. When you go to the page on Christian Book Distributors that displays this book (by clicking above) click on the "Additional Views" link that is just below the image of the book. It will take you to an inside view of several of the books pages. I found this to be helpful in doing a quick evaluation of what the book might cover.
It looks very good for its overview purpose, and that Christian Book Distributors stocks it, is an endorsement of sorts.

I ran across this book also at Christian Book Distributors. It is published by Moody Press, which says all you need to know. This book includes travel tips, which I was glad to read, are similar to the travel tips I provide...meaning I'm not leading you astray! :-)
$12.99 plus shipping. Here's the link: The Christian Traveler's Guide to the Holy Land Once again, click on the "Additional Views" link to get a snap shot of the table of contents. Each of the two travel guides I've listed, has their benefits. I'm not sure you'd want to buy both in that you'd have more than 500 pages of reading with their combined total, but who knows, you might just want that!
If I was going to pick one, I'd pick the one from Moody, right here, but that's just me. As you look at the "Additional Views" links and see more about what is covered in each, you may prefer the other. I have not read either by the way, and am just doing some research on books that would be helpful for the trip.
