CHRISTMAS
Christmas is near. I'm sure all of you like this special holiday. All the family meet together, you get presents and have fun.
In this section you will find different instructions and activities for our Christmas project this year. Remember, we'll talk about traditions, typical food, holidays, Christmas songs and you'll design your own Christmas card. When we have all your Christmas cards, we'll put them on the notice boards in our classroom.
The first thing today is CHRISTMAS SAYINGS. Everybody knows the typical "Merry Christmas and Happy New Year", but perhaps you would like a different phrase for your Christmas card. If you want something different, choose one that you like from the list that you will find in the attachment.
Now you're going to learn about Christmas in different English-speaking countries. We'll use the beautiful book about Christmas created by the French school Marc Chagall to learn words, to listen to and match them to pictures, to read about traditions and to listen to and do activities with some Christmas carols. GRAMMAR PRACTICE: PRESENT CONTINUOUS / PRESENT SIMPLE

THE PAST
These days we are working with past events so we have studied and remembered Past Simple.
In class your teacher has shown you a presentation about this tense. You can see this presentation every time that you want to review Past Simple.
