You could create yourself a copy of the following checklist and fill it in as you complete one aspect of your CAS Programme.
Managebac helps you to track your Learning Outcomes and key dates so long as you/your CAS Advisor are using it accurately.
Note:
Year 13 students are expected to be close to finishing their CAS portfolios by the end of semester 1. This means that they have had 18 months to complete CAS.
The official CAS sign-off date for Year 13 students is the end of the first half term of semester 2.
If students have not completed their portfolio by the sign-off date then their progress is personally monitored by the CAS/Diploma Coordinator until finished. The IB Diploma is now “at risk”.
If the CAS requirements cannot be fulfilled while a student is still in Year 13, the DP Coordinator may agree to allow CAS to be completed in the 12months following the students final exam in order for the student to then be awarded the IB Diploma.
