Survey

This is a short survey – aimed at getting information about the learners needs in terms of educational workplace setting, resources availability, and comfort level of working with technology. It is a type of formative assessment to assist the instructor in determining the experience level of the learners. The information can be used to focus attention throughout the module. For example: by grade level, learner variances, and availability of technology on the job. The instructor could use Google forms, Poll Everywhere or some other technology related survey tool to model use of technology and discuss how a survey can be used as a formative assessment.
