About Us
The International Association of Professional Martial Artists is an association of independent martial arts professionals and schools, providing support and connections for martial arts schools, teachers, and students of all styles, worldwide. We offer an advisory board to address questions regarding martial arts styles and abilities, provide registration services for all members, and give advice upon request for martial arts development. While we do not assume the authority to issue ranks, we do register ranks that our teacher members send to us. This association helps connects all members with each others' advice, expertise, collaboration, and friendship. If you are an independent martial arts professional or student, this association is for you! If you are the head of an independent school, or if you are an independent teacher who only works with private students, your prospective students will know you belong to an authentic organization. If you are an independent student who does not have an official teacher, we can connect you with teachers who may even work with you remotely in some cases, and help you become a mainstreamed, recognized, officially ranked martial artist. There is no cost to joining this association, and we make every effort to ensure that all of our members are sincere, ethical martial artists who represent the highest ideals of martial arts and society.
