The nanotube and graphene team of CRPP is composed of 6 permanent researchers and university professors and about 15 PhD students and post-docs and has been active in the field of nanocarbons since 2000, with about 12 patents and 70 publications on the subject. The team's interests focus on chemistry and physical chemistry of nanotubes and graphenes with highlights such as the first carbon nanotubes fibers (Poulin, Science 2000), reductive dissolution and individualization of carbon nanotubes (Penicaud, Jacs 2005), temperature memory materials (Poulin, Science 2007), graphene solutions (Penicaud , JACS 2008 and Accounts of Chemical Research 2012), kinetics of fibers solidification (Poulin, PNAS 2010).
