Guest lecture by Prof. M. EVOLA (LUMSA University, Palermo) on the Functioning of the European Parliament
Tuesday 18 February 2025, 6-7 pm CET (= 7-8 pm EET; 5-6 pm WET):
Guest lecture by Prof. D. DELGADO (Villanueva University, Madrid) on the functioning of the Council of the EU

Thursday 20 February 2025, 7-8 pm CET (= 8-9 pm EET; 6-7 pm WET):
The online week will be concluded with an individual online test in which the material from the guest lectures will be examined

12.30-13.30: Lunch at the UCLL Proximus restaurant

13.45-16.00: Workshop 1b (Rooms C107-109-110)

16.00 - 16.45: Guest lecture by Prof. K. Lenaerts, President of the CJEU (D140)

16.40-18.00: International Aperitif at UCLL Proximus campus (Restaurant)

Tuesday 4 March 2025 - UCLL Proximus campus in Leuven-Heverlee

09.00: Briefing assignment 2 (Analysis of EU Legislation) (Aula D180)

09.15-11.30: Workshop 2 (Rooms C004 - C005 - C006)

11.15-12.00: Lunch at the UCLL Proximus restaurant

11.45: Leaving on foot from the campus for public transport busses
- Bus line 630 leaves at 12.08 and arrives at 'Vaartvest' at 12.25 (see: De Lijn Route planner) for InBev brewery
- Bus line 630 leaving at 12.38 and arrives at 'Abdij van Park' at 12.53 (see: De Lijn Route planner) for Braxatorium brewery

13.00-15.30: Brewery visit - either InBev brewery or Braxatorium Parcensis brewery or guided tour at Parc Abbey

9.30: Departure for Brussels by private bus from the campus to Brussels

10.30-12.00: Visit BENELUX headquarters

12.00-13.00: Lunch in Brussels

13.00: Departure from BENELUX headquarters to European Parliament

14.00-15.30: Visit European Parliament incl. Meeting with MEPs
- Security check at European Parliamnet (bring ID)
- Meeting MEPs in conference room PHS 0C41
- Visiting the hemicycle

15.30-18.00: Free: Parlamentarium or Grand Place - UNESCO World Heritage or one of the Art Nouveau mansions

18.00: Departure to Leuven by bus - meeting point to be confirmed

Thursday 6 March 2025 - UCLL Proximus Campus in Leuven -Heverlee

09.30-12.30: Assignment 3 (amendments) & workshop 4 (Rooms C004 - C005 - C006)

12.30-13.30: Lunch at the UCLL Proximus restaurant

13.30-16.30: Workshop 5 Finalizing the amendment for plenary debate. (Rooms C004 - C005 - C006)

13.00-15.00: Mock European Parliament with debate and voting at the council chamber of the provincial government building in Leuven

15.00-16.30: Closing reception: Tapas and Farewell drink (council chamber of the provincial government building)
