The online week will be concluded with an individual online test in which the material from the guest lectures will be examined

Monday 2 March 2026 - Leuven-Heverlee: UCLL Campus Connect

09.30-10.00: Welcome and coffee (Getting to UCLL Campus Connect / consult De Lijn Route Planner)

10.00-11.30: Opening, Introduction Student Crew and briefing assignment 1 (Aula D180)

11.30-12.30: workshop 1a (Rooms C004 - C005 - C006)

12.30-13.30: Lunch at the UCLL Campus Connect restaurant

13.45-16.30: Workshop 1b (Rooms C107-109-110)

16.30-18.00: International Aperitif at UCLL Campus Connect (Restaurant)

Tuesday 3 March 2026 - Brussels: Court of Cassation & European Paliament

9.00: Departure for Brussels by train from the Leuven railway station: 9.06 am, platform 2 -> Brussels central railway station (9.27 am)

10.00-12.00: Visit to Court of Cassation (Palace of Justice)

12.00-13.00: Lunch in Brussels

13.30-15.00: Social and cultural activities. Students and staff can choose and subscribe for one of these activities:
- Art Nouveau-museum/mansion In 1898, Victor Horta purchased two plots of land to build his house and studio, which were completed in 1901... (max 28 registrations)
- Tour in Brussels (Grand Place - UNESCO World Heritage, Rue des Bouchez, Manneke Pis ... - Max 25 registrations)
- Parlamentarium (explaining the path towards European cooperation, It can be experienced in any of the EU’s 24 official languages - Max 40 registrations)

Other tips for sightseeing during your free time:
- Royal Galeries: With these Galleries build in 1837, Brussels gained a monumental arcade and joined the ranks of great European cities...
- Royal Museum of fine Arts: Including the Margritte Museum and the Old Masters Museum. The collection spans from the Old Masters modern art, with works by Bruegel, Rubens, and Magritte.
- Comic Book Route: Brussels is the birthplace of some of the world’s most beloved comics, including Tintin and the Smurfs.
The Comic Book Route is a unique way to explore the city, with over 50 colourful murals

18.00 -23.00: Departure to Leuven by train

09.00-12.00: Briefing assignment 2 and workshop 2 (Analysis of EU Legislation) (Aula D180)

12.00-13.30: Guest lecture by E. DE SMIJTER, EU Commission DG Competition, Head of Union Foreign Subsidies (D080)

13.30-14.00: Lunch at the UCLL Campus Connect restaurant

In the afternoon, students and staff can choose and register for 1 out oh these 3 activities

Friday 6 March 2026 - Leuven City Centre: Campus Corso & House of Province

10.30-11.45: Debaters Breakfast students and staff (Corso Campus - Diestsestraat 253, Leuven )

13.00-15.00: Mock European Parliament with debate and voting at the council chamber of the provincial government building in Leuven

15.00-16.30: Closing & Farewell event with drinks and tapas (council chamber of the provincial government building)
