Founder and Director of the Computational Economics and Multi-Agent Systems (CEMAS) Laboratory at the School of Computing (Medway campus), University of Kent, UK.

Previously, he was the founder and director of two other research laboratories:

• • • The Multiagent and Cloud Computing Systems Laboratory at the Gwangju Insitute of Science and Technology (ranked 2nd in the world in terms of Citations per Faculty according to the QS World University Ranking 2015), South Korea,

    • The Agent-based Grid Computing Laboratory at Academia Sinica (Taiwan's leading research institute formerly led by Nobel Laureate YT Lee).
