Dear delegates,
We are delighted to invite you to Institut Notre Dame’s Model United Nations 2026, taking place on the 14th and 15th of February 2026!
INDMUN is a local MUN Conference which offers an exceptional opportunity for students to dive into the world of International Relations. Through a simulation of United Nation debate sessions, students discover how the global community deals with international crises. Each representing their country’s interest, they come up with plausible solutions to the complex real-world issues that politicians face today, developing their communication, leadership and analytical skills.
This year’s theme is "The Rise of Extremism in the World”. The Security Council will focus on the issue of the Sudan Crisis, while the International court of justice will turn its attention tothe obligation of extraditing or preosecuting individuals affected by extremist crimes, WHO will seek to strengthen health systems in the Middle East, CSW will be debating on the gender based violence in extremist countries and ECOSOC the role of social media in preventing extremism. Meanwhile, the Historical comittee will go back in time to focus on the Rwandan Genocide.
Students will have opportunities to meet delegates from all over France, and socialise during the snacks and lunch breaks offered by INDMUN.
INDMUN is beginner friendly, and we encourage everyone to try it out. Who knows, you might end up being the next UN Secretary General !
