This is similar to the previous but slightly more complicated. Various circuits are combined in special ways so they each do some important specific signaling processes. The basic circuits are designed so they provide logical gates. A logical gate can be used to determine whether two inputs are the same or different and make a decision (provide an output) based on that relationship. A logical gate measures the result that two inputs cause when they are “logically” compared.
