Tutoring

In-person location serving the east valley OR remote/online sessions available across various time zones.

$75 per session 

50-min session remote/online interactive classroom instruction  OR limited in-person availability

For students struggling in reading (due to dyslexia or other learning struggles), math, & writing 

Reading & Spelling instruction: Evidence-Based Literacy Instruction  (EBLI)--minimum 1 session/week (www.eblireads.com)

Writing instruction: IEW--Institute for Excellence in Writing  www.iew.com 

Math:  Math-U-See, Singapore math, or existing curriculum from the student 

An individualized plan for your child's individual needs and goals is developed.

A tutoring plan is established based on previous school records, work samples, assessments done by Colleen once tutoring begins, and the needs of your child. This plan is a dynamic plan and changes often as your child makes progress.

Progress can be shared with parent(s) at the end of a tutoring session or upon request by the parent.  Colleen will share with parents/guardians the student's progress, needs and what can be done to assist in the child's learning between tutoring sessions.
