Each year, the Illinois Division recognizes a few of those individuals or organizations whose conservation work and or programs help to further the mission of the Izaak Walton League of America to protect our environment and promote responsible outdoor activities.
Individuals, chapters, and community groups are eligible. Membership in the league is not a requirement for an award. Every chapter and its members are encouraged to submit nominations by July 31st. The awards are handed out at the Division’s September meeting.
Send a brief narrative of their activities and why you feel they are worthy of recognition to:
Awards Chair Lloye Pond at: lloyepond@yahoo.com please include Award nomination in the subject line.
