Kid's Fishing Derby
The Vermilion County Conservation District, Illini Bass Fishing Club and the Vermilion County Sheriff's Department D.A.R.E. program host a annual outdoor youth adventure and a kid's fishing derby. Illini Bass Club host the kids fishing derby. The kids are awarded prizes for the winners for their age catagories. Every kid wins a prize. The Vermilion County Conservation District offers several different activities such as rock climbing wall, shooting range with a shot gun and archery and much more. There is an average of 100+ kids that participate every year.
The Illini Bass Club donates money to the Vermilion County Sheriff's Department D.A.R.E. program every year.
