Payment of services is conducted via bank transfer.

• Proofreading Rates:

  • Ranging from 2 to 4 yen per word. Rates increase according to the degree of difficulty in editing the original Japanese-to-English translation. Volume discounts and repeat-customer discounts are available at my discretion.

• Rewriting Rates:

  • Ranging from 3 to 6 yen per word. Rates increase according to the degree of difficulty in editing the original Japanese-to-English translation, or increase according the level of technicality of the syntax and/or quality of the translation. Volume discounts and repeat-customer discounts are available at my discretion.

• Copyediting Rates:

  • Ranging from 6 to 8 yen per word. Rates increase according to the amount of time involved and quality of translation. Volume discounts and repeat-customer discounts are available at my discretion.

• Japanese-to-English Translation Rates:

  • Ranging from 12 to 16 yen per character according to the amount of time involved and difficulty of the the original Japanese text.
