Fees

In open access journal publishing, users are free to access the published articles. IJGE offers immediate free open accesses to its publications to the public. However, the journal continuously incurs essential operating expenses from manuscript handling to online publishing. In order to make this open access journal sustainable and maintain the journal quality, authors are required to pay a fee (as the world's large publishers do). IJGE's fee is as follows.

Submission fee - None, except for the following conditions:

Note: A fee of US$200 will be levied to the author(s) if either one of the following situations occurs:

a) a manuscript is submitted to more than one journal and published elsewhere while it is still under review in IJGE,

b) if a manuscript is withdrawn after reviewing process has started and it is within four months from the submission date but has not been rejected by IJGE.

Article Publishing Charge (APC) - US$690 fee

This fee is to cover the costs incurred in the process of evaluation and publishing, payable upon acceptance.

IJGE offers APC discounts or waiver for authors from Low Income Countries as defined by the world Bank. Authors requesting APC waiver or discount are required to download the APC Request Form and submit the completed form together with their manuscripts.

Note: The APC does not include any cost associated with technical and language editing.
