Vince Bryner suggested rotating officers every year so there is 1 new officer each year.
Additional idea to have the newly elected officer shadow the position for 1 year prior to taking over
Bill Mari proposed playing the ball as it lies
Rich Kustron proposed on #15 if gold tees are on top of the hill out of the normal position, those playing gold tees in the league, play in an area that is dry and as close to the original tee box area.
John Pechunka mentioned always playing the tees where they are supposed to be in the event they were moved for an outing and not returned to the correct position.
Rich Kustron suggested having gold tees always 1 tee box ahead of the white tees. The example given was #7. If the whites are way back, the golds should be back as well.
Jeff Hospodavis mentioned considering a method to determine who plays the gold tees. He suggested Age + Handicap > 85 you hit from the gold tees. Members stay at the same tees all year and don't move back and forth.
Everyone agreed to “Hit when ready, from Tee to Green”
"Ready golf" refers to a method for golfers to speed up play. Simply put, "ready golf" means that each golfer within a group hits when ready. Ready golf allows the golfers within a group to take their swings when each member of the group is ready to play. If you reach your ball and are ready to hit, while other members of your group are not yet prepared, then go ahead and hit - even if you are not away.
Greg Parsons mentioned offering a “Ghost Handicap” if a player has to forfeit. There are several options available. If Player A plays Player B and Player B forfeits, Player A could play against
A portion of his opponents handicap
A randomly selected player in his flight
It was noted to ALWAYS play 2 balls if there is a question on a ruling. Play both scenarios out and the rules committee will make a decision after the round.

“Tee It Forward” unless you are consistently able to reach greens in regulation from the current tees.
In other words, play from a set of tees that is comfortable for you – one where you are more likely to hit lofted irons into greens instead of hybrids or fairway woods. It is acceptable for players in the same group to play from different tees. (The USGA Handicap System provides a formula for adjusting handicaps from different tees.)

“Check your ego at the first tee.”
The national Tee It Forward campaign said the feedback it received from golfers in 2012 showed that among golfers who moved forward :
*56 percent played faster
*56 said they were more likely to play golf more often
*83 percent hit more lofted clubs into greens
*85 percent said they had more fun.
"Simply put, TEE IT FORWARD can make golf much more fun for millions of people," said PGA of America President Allen Wronowski. "We believe that by moving up to another set of tees, golfers will experience an exciting, new approach to the game that will produce more enjoyment and elevate their desire to come back and play even more golf.”
TEE IT FORWARD doesn't compromise the integrity or the purity of the game.
Golf will always be a macho sport and golfers will always be stubborn. But give Tee it Forward a chance — at least once — and you might enjoy shooting 85 from 5,600 yards far more than shooting 98 from 7,000 yards.
