Basic Course Outline:

• • Identify parts of a Violin

  • Left Hand & Right Hand Coordination

  • Basic Note Reading, Scales and Chords Study 

  • Note values, Rest Values and Rhythmic Patterns 

  • Identify & Clap time signatures 4/4, ¾ and 2/4

  • Proper Intonation

  • Application of lessons learned through playing a Violin piece.

Materials Needed for Lessons:

For the Lessons, the student is expected to:

1. 1. 1.  Have your own Violin (Inquire about sizing from your retailer), Bow, Rosin and shoulder rest (Set)

      2. Clear Book to organize handouts and lessons

      3. Beginners Books:

         • Suzuki Book 1 for Violin (Beginners)

         • Franz Wolfhart 60 Studies

      4. Access to a metronome

Class Frequency:

• •  Lessons are one hour, one on one

  •  One Cycle = 12 Lessons

  •  Open to Kids and Adult Violin Classes, from age 7
