Left Hand & Right Hand Coordination
Basic Note Reading, Scales and Chords Study
Note values, Rest Values and Rhythmic Patterns
Identify & Clap time signatures 4/4, ¾ and 2/4
Playing & Singing Notes
Application of lessons learned through playing a piano piece.
Materials Needed for Lessons:
For the Lessons, the student is expected to:
Have your own Piano or a Electronic Keyboard at home for practice
Clear Book to organize handouts and lessons
Access to a metronome
Class Frequency:
Lessons are one hour, one on one and face to face
One Learning Cycle at Icon Music Studios = 12 Lessons
Open for Kids and Adult Piano Classes, starting age 7
No show/No Advise = Automatic Forfeiture

INSTRUCTOR:
With over 30 years of experience as a singer, songwriter and professional performing artist. Marissa Buñag has performed extensively within Southeast Asia and the United States.
A published songwriter and lyricist, she has written Rage Band cult classics such as "Believe Me", "Whiplash" and "Shy Eyes". She has also co-written "Divided Hearts" with Jun Latonio, Gino Padilla's "Rough" and "Light In the Dark" for Regine Velasquez with Juan Miguel Salvador. She is a verified Spotify Artist, with the single Stompin' written by Jay Block.
Teacher Marissa established Icon Music Studios in 2008 and is currently handling Beginning Piano & Voice.

We're looking for a talented, dynamic, fun teacher with a heart for service.
We're open to accept Music ED students as paid OJT. This is a part time gig, 2x a week for the 2026 Season. If you live within 3-5 km radius from the Tomas Morato area, that's a big plus!
