Basic Course Outline:

• • Identify parts of a Guitar

  •  Fundamentals of Guitar: Tuning, Rhythm, Pitch, Dynamics

  •  Left Hand & Right Hand Coordination

  •  Basic Note Reading and Chords Study 

  •  Fingering, Strumming & Alternation

  • Technique

Materials Needed for Lessons:

For the Lessons, the student is expected to:

1. 1. 1. Clear Book to organize handouts and lessons

      2.  Must Own your own Guitar

         • Standard neck Acoustic Guitar with or without pickup, with Steel Strings

         • Electric Guitar (this guitar requires an amplifier for practice at home)

      3. Guitar Tuner (Digital or standard clip on)

Class Frequency:

• •  Lessons are one hour, one on one and face to face

  •  One Learning Cycle at Icon Music Studios = 12 Lessons

  •  Open for Kids and Adult Guitar Classes, starting age 7

  •  No show/No Advise = Automatic Forfeiture
