The Institute does not promise any travel assistance for attending the conference or presenting papers in it. The funds allocated for the conference is very small and not sufficient to provide travel assistance to all. The experts invited as keynote, plenary and valedictory speakers, the experts invited for tutorials, workshops, panel discussions and those chairing academic sessions will be considered on priority. The students without fellowships may be considered next. Participants who are in service teachers and students with fellowships are encouraged to manage their travel on their own.
In addition to the invited experts, the conference may offer a limited number of travel support to eligible participants who fulfill the criteria such as submission of full paper. This travel support for presenting papers is available only to the Indian nationals. In case of papers having two or more authors the TA amount will be reimbursed to only one author (else divided between/among the authors).
3AC or lower class travel support would be available to the registered participants on the production of original tickets only if traveled according to their entitlements. If considered, the travel support to eligible / entitled participants would be calculated according to the Institute's norms not merely on the figures stated on the ticket or the amount claimed in the TA forms.
There is no instant reimbursement of TA. If interested, the eligible participants must submit their bank details such as Account Number, IFSC, PAN for the purpose of online transfer of travel reimbursement. Such participants need to submit the following: (a) Two sets of filled in TA forms (b) Filled in proforma for online transfer (c) Original ticket of onward journey and copy of return ticket.
The participants are also encouraged to seek travel support from their respective institutions/organizations. Please note that mere submission of an abstract or full paper at this conference does not make a presenter entitled to travel support from CIIL.
