Of course, the standard way to handle pain is to take medication, often a narcotic of some sort. These drugs always have side effects and most people agree that it's not a great idea to take them long term, all the time. Here are a couple of alternatives that you might consider:
Acupuncture - One or two people in our group have tried acupuncture with success. It's usually not covered by insurance, but if you can afford it, it might be a great alternative to taking medication. Hypnotherapist - While nobody in the group has tried hypnotherapy to control pain, maybe you will be the first! If it works, let us know! The power of the sub conscientious mind is incredible and if it can be captured and used, it could be used to block pain.
