You will need to turn your written answers on the dates even if we do not have class. If you are absent, you need to send screenshots of your written answers to the questions by class time of that particular day. A mark scheme will be posted the day after each assignment is due so you can check your answers against the mark scheme. These quizzes are open note, open book, open website, etc. Your final exam will be over option D which is equivalent to the paper three that you will take from IB when you sit for your exams in May. Once we are done with presentations, you will have class time each class period to work on this assignment as well as receiving instruction from me summarizing the topics.

Expectations:
You will present to the class the information listed above. You will present in the order of presentation (1-7). It is important that you are not absent for your presentation so the sequence of information will flow through D3 – functions of the liver and D4 – the heart.
Your presentation should be about 10 minutes to 15 minutes long, should be presented in front of the class in terms of a Google slides document that you will show to the class as well as send links (share the document) to other students in class.
Within your presentation you need to:ee
- summarize the topics with the information presented in your textbook. The textbook chapter Option D and the data-based question answers are linked at the bottom of this page. USE lots of IMAGES!
-You also need to include at least one animation related to the topic(s) as well as one short (five minutes or less) video from YouTube that relate your topic to real life or explains tthe idea(s) in a different way than the animation. Preferably your animation and your video will be from different topics within your presentation.
- Have between 3 to 5 review questions at the end of your presentation (embedded in your presentation )so you can review the material with the class. Also, have the answers available within your presentation.
You will be given Thursday Nov 15th in class to complete your topic presentation. If you need more time than this, you will need to come complete this activity outside of class time.
Presentations will begin Friday Nov 15th , continue on Monday Nov 18th etc.
