John and Mary Ibarra hosts a Birthday Celebration for Dr and Rick's 50th!

TBA in May. More details to come..............All are welcome for another celebration of our Ibarra family. This time around we will draw upon the occasions of our Dad's (the Dr.'s) 85th birthday and Ricky's 50th to give our families the opportunity to gather and be together.

The party will be held on Saturday, June 11, at 6:00pm at John & Mary's house in Lenexa. We will be serving a menu of Mexican dishes including soft tacos (pork and beef), pork burritos, cheese enchiladas, and some accompany rice and bean dishes. If anyone would like to contribute some additional side dishes or appetizers of choice to share with all potluck style, please feel free to do so and know your efforts would be greatly appreciated. Bring along any refreshments of choice as well as your lawn chairs and blankets should you care to comfortably spread these out in our backyard. Throughout the evening we will have music provided by the generosity of cousin Louie, and at 7:00pm we will have some live entertainment of mariachi style music (thanks to cousin Lisa for helping me to arrange this).

Most importantly bring yourself and your family as we would love for all to join us. If we missed some family member's email address, it was certainly unintentional and we would be grateful if someone would let us know or if you would simply pass this message along to them. DIRECTIONS:

From the North: 435 South to Midland Drive exit...turn left (east) onto Midland Drive...turn right (south) onto Renner Road...continue on Renner to 84th St and turn right (west)...continue on 84th St to the stop sign at Penrose...turn right on Penrose and then an immediate left onto 83rd Terrace...house is at the bottom of the cul-de-sac on the right.

From the South: 435 North to 87th St. exit...turn left (west) onto 87th St..

(Normally would suggest turning north onto Renner Road, but this year the intersection of 87th & Renner is under construction and northbound Renner is closed, so detour is as follows.)

Continue west on 87th St. through Renner Road intersection...turn right (north) onto Winchester...road runs along new apartment complex being developed to north of 87th St...turn left (west) onto Cardinal...continue on Cardinal (slightly winding) to Penrose...turn right on Penrose and continue to 83rd Terrace, then turn left into cul-de-sac, house at the bottom on the right.

You may alternatively wish to continue north on 435 to the Midland Drive exit and back track to the south using the "From the North" directions above.
