Lisa received a request from Kenny & David to see if the Ibarra family can donate some items at the upcoming Ibarra family bowling event:
"Lisa and Ibarra family,
David and I are trying to helping this guy that I have volunteered with for quite a few years. He is disabled and currently homeless. I have been able to find him an apartment that he is moving into next friday 2/5. However with his social security check it is not even enough to cover the rent and deposit. We plan on helping him cover the cost that he can't and with the help of a lot of people he has a lot of household items to take with him. He is very excited to have his own place and is very appreciative.
David thought since he wont have any money for the entire month for food that we could ask everyone that comes to the bowling event to bring a non-perishable food item or household cleaning supplies. Here are some examples that would be really helpful in addition to food:
Thanks, Kenny and David"
You can honor Grandma & Grandpa Ibarras' past tradition of helping the Benedictine Sisters of Mount St Scholastica in Atchison, KS by helping a friend of the Ibarra family in Lawrence, KS. All they are asking for is....a little help.
