My Connection(s)!
Throughout my entire PBL Project, I was supposed to make a connection to History
As I was working I realized that the concept of motion and the shape of the rail had an odd relationship: When used correctly, the Twirler would almost seem as if it was moving in a circle, despite the Rail's Borderline-Jagged shape.
The Connection that I made with this... connection was a connection to the general reason that people give for the purpose of studying history
"People Study History so that they're not doomed to repeat it."
The reason that I came up with this as my connection to History was that The Twirler, despite appearances, was, for lack of a better word, repeating itself!
The Twirler in the "Rail Twirler" can easily symbolize a person that has chosen to neglect learning about this planet and its people's history; it symbolizes what would happen to this person. In Essence, the Rail is "History" and the Twirler is the person repeating it.
