For my ELA component, I am going to write JOURNAL ENTRIES. This is so I can follow up on my progress on the "Rail Twirler" project!
Entry 001 (October 10th, 2013)
The Rail Twirlers have come in! It's gonna be wild figuring these things out; looking forward to all that science!
Entry 002 (October 17th, 2013)
So far I've figured out that the Rail-Twirlers are heavily-based on Motion and Gravity! They've got some other things going on too, but those are the main scientific-concepts present!
Entry 003 (October 24th, 2013)
It's my Birthday! I woke up this morning and just hung out with the Rail-Twirlers; They're awesome! I've learned some stuff about the magnetism aspect of the whole thing! It's great!
Entry 004 (October 31st, 2013)
It's Halloween and I just realized something! The Twirlers have little lights inside of them that activate when you place the Twirlers on the Rail! I never noticed because I always used it during the day! Looks like there's Energy involved!!
Entry 005 (November 23rd, 2013)
It's been awhile since I made a journal entry; I'm putting more things together and I'm starting to see the big picture here! It's looking great!
Entry 006 (December 7th, 2013)
I initially thought that there were just s few scientific concepts related to the Rail Twirler but I'm beginning to realize that they're all connected in some way or another! It's awesome!
Entry 007 (February 1st, 2013)
I just came back from STEM Fest and it was fun showing people that there's science, even in a simple children's toy!
Entry 008 (February 28th, 2013)
I have studied the Rail Twirler, become a Rail-Twirling master and, in the process, I have learned more about how it works and the way that it does. It's a combination of the uses of Energy, Magnetism, Gravity, and Motion. I have taken a video and uploaded it on the Youtube if more information is desired.
