Letters of Recommendation! (What to do?)

Set up an appointment with your counselor.

Fill out Letter of Recommendation Request Form (if there is one to complete)

The school uses the fantastic tool Naviance to complete your forms, this includes Teacher Recommendations, Transcripts, all forms, etc. Make sure you clarify this with your Counselor.

Regardless, you need to still write down where you're applying and give those writing your recommendations some lead time and a deadline for completion of these vital documents!

Write THANK YOU NOTES to your counselor and teacher(s) for completing your forms for you. You are not finished with the process until you have written your thank you notes as well. No excuses for not writing and completing the thank you note as folks are completing a great deal of work for you.
