Geological Mapping on the Keithley Creek

Mineral "Honey Hole" Exploration Report Mapping Project

Hardrock exploration will be Geological Mapping/Prospecting, outcrop sampling, and/or channel sampling, with Diamond Drilling commencing later. VMS showings and mesothermal veins will be characterized and sampled. Geophysics and other geochemical work will be incorporated into the program at points to help guide fieldwork. Field mapping and other work will then be incorporated into the project database and utilized to enhance future exploration activities.

Geological mapping records regional distribution of rocks belonging to different formations. However, such maps reveal far more than rocks belonging to given formations. They are used to solve problems in earth resource exploration (mineral and hydrocarbons), civil engineering (roads, dams, tunnels, etc.) Environmental Geosciences (pollution, landfill) and hazards (landslides, earthquakes, etc.).
