Dean G. Paetkau - CEO

This photo was taken in the 82 foot trench during the process of our testing project as Mines Manager.

I started an interest in prospecting approximately 1975 and have been seriously prospecting since 1982.

I have been President of Honey Hole Mines since 1999, and am now President / CEO / Owner of Honey Hole Mines Ltd., since March of 2011.

I have dedicated my life since incorporating the company and 14 years prior to the incorporation to the prospecting and exploring of our property consisting of 2,000 acres and as a result of this, we are pleased to be able to present so many showings on this website. Living in the camp on the claim property for the duration of the prospecting period was necessary during the four seasons to help me better understand the property. This has now made it easier to locate deposits even when hiding and to understand occurrences that occurred millions of years ago such as post-glacial, pre-glacial, and tertiary deposits, as I can see the differences between these natural movements that did take place.

In search of the lode gold, I personally would have to say that I have never seen better property than this.

The ore body is a dark reddish color, which has always been a winner for mines to produce around the 100-year mark or more.

The chert and cherty chert and black quartz are of super high mineralization importance for the mother lode.

The videos are showing that the property has the potential of the mother lode as the property has so much to offer in the showings. (Even our quartz veins are of a 300° trend in the same direction as the mother lode traveled)

The four different seasons that I endured made it possible to make more great finds and discoveries.

I can remember one year that I was stranded for three weeks due to the extreme cold weather and the very deep snow, the storms had no mercy as I was out there on my own.

I also spent two years mining on the pre-glacial deposit that we sold in 2008.

Surveyor

When I was young I took a course as a surveyor in the army for 1 year. (Chilliwack Army Base)

I have been conducting the surveying for Honey Hole Mines Ltd. Company.

Feller and buckerman

Previously worked as a feller and buckerman for approximately 22 years.

I also owned a timber sale, several cedar claims, and cash sales.

I was in a forestry course for two full years.

- Here are some photos of the earlier days of me prospecting and testing our property -
