the Spanish and Moroccan border. This whole area has made great progress in the last two years to now offer a viable holiday destination that is popular with Moroccans and foreigners alike. A palace belonging to the King of Morocco is nearby so the area is kept clean. The new motorway from Tangier to Ceuta allows a fast connection from Tangier Airport.

A bridge connects this resort with access to wide clean sandy beaches that have cycle and pedestrian paths. Water sports and some beach facilities are available during the season. Fnideq, just 2km away, is the nearest town with inexpensive restaurants, souks and beach front. A trip to Chefchaouen in the Rif Mountains is a must.

This second floor apartment is accessed by open stairs. The 25sqm meter terrace offers good views of the sea and is near to the resort's swimming pool and surrounded by immaculate gardens. The interior decoration was personally designed and most of the furniture, including the beds, are hand made. A fully equipped kitchen and Moroccan design throughout allows a good local feeling.

This apartment is suitable for leisure or as a property search base in the area. Although this area of Morocco only gets about six weeks of rain per annum, the main holiday season is July and August. Check Ramadan dates as this period may also be affected by Ramadan dates as Muslims tend to stay at home and services are reduced. You may not wish to travel at this time. It sleeps up to five people. There is one double bed and two single beds. A single folding bed can be available on request.
