In the heart of Berlin, most people live in apartments. This well designed studio apartment is situated in the Mitte district in a completely renovated former East Berlin building. The location is considered to be one of the best four postcodes in Berlin.

Public transport is comprehensive and regular.

Berlin is known as a city for the arts, but it plays host to tourists and business visitors alike throughout the year. There are many conferences, concerts and activities commensurate with a capital city. A boat trip is recommended in the centre and also about half an hour away further west on the shores of Wannsee, a very large lake, with interesting stories, architecture and large houses. In the summer, purpose made sand beaches, complete with deck chairs, can be found throughout the city. In the winter, have a glass of hot wine or a cup of hot chocolate at one of Berlin's many famous Christmas Markets. Berlin has embraced its tragic past with several museums and war memorials. The largest outdoor Berlin Wall exhibit including interactive videos and photographs is just a five minutes walk from this apartment. Do not forget to book your visit, free online and in advance only, to the "golf ball" behind the Government Buildings (Reichstag).

This first floor corner apartment, with lifts, is above a coffee shop. Large locked metal doors lead into a courtyard entrance. The U-bahn (underground) is directly opposite. Friedrichstrasse and Hauptbahnhof train stations, with local and regional trains, are both a 15 minutes walk. Fully furnished with extras such as a combined washer/dryer machine and a large triple glazed adjustable window. There is plenty of cupboard and shelf space. In the basement, there is a wellness area available. It has a sauna, mini gym, showers and a relaxation area. A small charge is levied for the sauna.

The rooftop terrace offers good views towards the east of the city.

This property is suitable for both business and leisure. Its close proximity to public transport connections, a good selection of restaurants and shops is particularly attractive. It sleeps up to two people. A single fold away bed is available if two people cannot sleep in one bed.
