Choose any combination of the options below to earn a maximum of 60 points. The first 30 points will be submitted as homework and the second 30 points will be submitted as extra credit. Only the first 60 point attempts that you submit will be graded. You can change the order of the options in your e-mail.

Poison Study (20 points each)

1. Research one poisonous frog species not mentioned in the lesson. Tell me the common and scientific names, what the frog looks like, the frog's habitat, the main component of its poison, and any other interesting facts about the frog. Minimum 100 words.

Include a picture of the frog for full points. This can be drawn or taken from the internet. Be glad that I'm not making you search for pictures of snakes or spiders! Upload the picture to an image-hosting site and send me the link. Attachments will not be open.

2. Considering how long the lesson already is, I could not possibly mention all creatures with venom. Find out about another organism that has venom. The venom does NOT have to be deadly to humans. Tell me what you find in 100 words or more.

You can choose to draw the venomous creature instead. Please include the name of the organism in your e-mail. Upload the picture to an image-hosting site and send me the link. Attachments will not be opened.
