is in much demand as a chamber musician, orchestral pianist and accompanist and has performed several concertos, including works by Mozart (K.242, 365, 449, 453, 456, 488, 491), Stravinsky (piano and wind), Gershwin (Concerto in F) and Fauré (Ballade).
also plays the bassoon and recorder, and has played keyboard in a ceilidh band.
has produced many arrangements, some of which have been published, broadcast or recorded on CD.

In 2016, was commissioned by Cambridgeshire Holiday orchestra to set Arthur O'Shaughnessy's 'Ode: The Music Makers' for two children's choirs and orchestra, performed at the Summer course in 2017. This work, in an adapted version, was performed by Haslingfield Choir in the Spring term of 2019.
A short song for soprano, two clarinets, violin and cello (Lyric 1 from a set of four settings of poems by John Hewitt) was included in The Ruskin Songbook, an in-house publication to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Anglia Ruskin University in 2017.
participated in the 2004, 2011, 2015 and 2017 Cambridge Grade One-a-thon events (on viola, horn and harp) and reached Grade 5 horn several years ago, playing regularly with Cambridge Wind Band.
enjoys duetting with Thanea (on one piano, two pianos, two bassoons, horn or bassoon with piano). We are now also half of a bassoon quartet!
