Oboe: Martyne Palmer

Martyne Palmer is a professional oboist and music teacher and has been teaching and playing in the Nashville area for the last 10 years.  She has a Bachelor of Music Education from Valdosta State University and has worked as a private lesson instructor, band director, and music teacher since graduating in 2006.  She currently serves as the Music and Worship teacher at Promiseland Parents Day Out program in Brentwood, TN and also has a studio of 10-15 private oboe lesson students. Martyne enjoys playing in an orchestral setting and can be found playing regularly with the Nashville Praise Symphony, the Travecca Symphony Orchestra and the Nashville Philharmonic Orchestra.  She lives with her husband and fellow musician, Dennis Palmer, and their two kids, Zoe (5) and baby Tyson, here in Nashville TN.
