There are lots of microbes in steam rooms. This causes risk of athlete's foot and fungus on the floor. Always wear flip flops when entering a sauna or steam room.
Drink water before and after using a sauna. Drink a glass of mineral water before entering the sauna. Drink at least 2 glasses of water to make up for lost fluids and rehydrate your body. Drink two to four glasses of water before going into a sauna. Water is the best.
