2025 - 2026 Season Registration is OPEN HERE

We are so excited to kick off our 4th year of the Baby Birds Dance Program!

Program Details:

The Baby Birds teams include our youngest dancers in the Highlands Dance program: K-5th graders from the various elementary schools in Fort Thomas! The Baby Birds dance program introduces young dancers to dance TEAM and helps them get familiar with the Highlands Dance program. For all of the Baby Birds teams, we focus on basic jazz/ballet based technique while learning the fundamentals of pom. The dancers will learn a pom routine.  

Details: 

• This year we will have 3 different class times/teams for the 2025/2026 season. We will likely split into K-1st, 2nd-3rd & 4th-5th. 

• Practices will take place from September through the first weekend of December, scheduled on Saturday or Sunday mornings or early afternoons. They will be held at one of the Highlands Schools or local elementary schools. 

Tentative Practice Schedule is below (each team will only be an hour except for the first practice of the year)

                • Saturday 10/25 -  9AM - 12PM 

                • Sunday 11/9- 12PM - 3PM

                • Sunday 11/16- 12PM - 3PM

                • Saturday 11/22 -  9AM - 12PM 

                • Saturday 12/6-  9AM - 12PM 

• The cost for the entire season is $250. This fee is to be paid in full at the first practice of the season. This cost includes your dancers instruction, music, performance entry fees, and a Baby Birds t-shirt. Each dancer will receive a Baby Birds Pom Leotard that must be returned at the end of the season.  Poms will also be used and returned. 

• Each dancer is required to purchase a black skirt. This cost is not included in the fees and it is each parent’s responsibility to obtain them for your dancer. The coaches will send a link to the specific skirt during the year. 

• There will be  3 performance throughout the season:

  • Highlands Varsity Football game on Friday, 9/19 

  • Highlands Dance Showcase Saturday, 11/1 @2PM 

  • Highlands Dance Competition on Sunday, 12/7

  • Possible basketball game performance - DATE TBD
