The Highlands High School Dance Team was established in 2006. The team started as a Varsity team with only 15 dancers and has grown to a program with 5 teams, including athletes ages 6-18. The purpose of Highlands Dance is to entertain crowds and provide spirit during HHS and HMS athletic events, as well as to compete on the local and national levels and prepare girls for future collegiate or professional dance involvement. It also allows students to be involved in a fun, hardworking and well-respected athletic program.
In 2025 the Varsity Dance Team won their first ever national championship title in Pom at the NDA natonals in Orlando, Florida!
