My Mt.Everest summit day. An hour on the top with clear sky and no wind. Photo in the photo is of Tyco. The stoplight pole is a laser reflector to measure the exact height from Lobuche village. Though partner Jan and I bypassed the balcony and climbed direct to the south summit we joined others on the main summit. The person behind me bent over is Igor Khmilor who died later in the year on another mountain, Manaslu. The blue down suit I designed then sewed / stuffed with feathers at night outside in Sri Lanka. photo Jan Harris
