One of the support partners is UofSC Libraries. Each campus has a library, and the librarians are very good at helping instructors identify and acquire appropriate materials. Many original course materials are available electronically through contracts the university already has in place, and the material can be linked from the Blackboard class site through the e-Reserves system.

The instructor can provide library reference information about the original document.
This is different than the eReserve system offered at the University of South Carolina, where you are linked directly to an electronic version of the document. This simply gives you the citation information to find the article.
You will only see this option if library reference information was provided for the document.
Click on the dropdown beside the file and choose [Alternative Formats]. If the information is there, you will see the Library Reference tab in addition to the Download options tab:

Remember that you will only see this option if your instructor included library reference information for the item.
