Thursday 2nd and Friday 3rd and Monday 6th and Tuesday 7th Graham is available for training sessions. Hone your polocrosse skills or young horse starting and problem solving sessions. WHAT TO EXPECT: Horsemanship, racket skills, and strategy for polocrosse with IPC (International Polocrosse Council) Chief Coach and maker of Bennett Polocrosse Rackets. APA Certified Coaches and adults with polocrosse experience interested in coaching will be grouped for an introduction to the IPC Level 1 Coach program.
Graham's POLOCROSSE CV: Graham Bennett is visiting Heartland Polocrosse Club in northern Virginia October 2-7, 2025, for a weekend long polocrosse clinic and weekday sessions, to improve your polocrosse game and overall horsemanship before traveling on to APA Nationals in GA.
Committed to getting American polocrosse riders able to compete internationally, he has followed our riders success at home and abroad since his first visits to Heartland Polocrosse Club in 2017. Scheduled for APA Domestic Development in 2023, all players are invited to participate.
Graham hones racket skills on the ground and in the saddle with his attention to detail and repretoir of exercizes. Off the pitch he shares his experiences coaching top teams down under and and innovating racket head design. Graham owns Bennett Polocrosse Rackets and has been producing and innovating top quality rackets for over 34 years,
Graham Bennett started riding in 1971 and playing polocrosse in 1978 as a junior with the Burradoo Club, having the good fortune to learn from the best, including polocrosse legends and fellow club members Neville Gilpin and Graeme Spackman. He was rated a 9 for most of his "rated" playing career and has represented NSW at both National and International level many times, including; Australian Nationals, Sydney and Brisbane Royal Shows, Australia vs. Rest of the World, Australia vs. Zimbabwe.
Graham is a: State Level Umpire; Level 2 accredited Coach; Australian Sports Commission accredited Coach Assessor. Graham has coached at Club and State level throughout Australia and overseas. Career coach highlights multiple NSW teams; Australian Under 21 Team 2015; Australian Under 16 Team South Africa Tour 2016; and Pony Club Nationals guest clinician.
He revised New Zealand Polocrosse Association national coach program, re-accrediting all New Zealand coaches. He is currently International Polocrosse Council (IPC) Vice President and IPC Chief Coach. He has been tasked with developing international coaching standards, intended to give emerging nations access to qualified coaches and the opportunity to develop players that can compete internationally.
WHO CAN ATTEND: Polocrosse players who can ride independently in the open on an appropriate mount. Riders must have an understanding of the game and basic racket skills. Open to non-APA (American Polocrosse Association) members.
MOUNTS: Trailer in daily or camp and hot pen your own mount field side. A few mounts are available on site for loan, text 703-475-7832.
FEES: $200.00 per rider for 2 day clinic
$150.00 per day
$50.00 per person to audit unmounted from the sideline for the weekend
$75 per rider weekday 1 1/2 hour training session

Approved riding helmets and appropriate footwear must be worn at all times when mounted.
