On Thursday October 9, Ken Jackson will give a presentation on "How I do Things!"

Ken shares, " I will discuss some of the techniques that I use to light various subjects both near and far!"

The meeting will be a hybrid one at the Komohana Research & Extension Center (875 Komohana St., Hilo) .  The meeting place will be in the large conference room A-204: second floor, near the elevator. "How I Do Things" Images by Ken Jackson

The September 2025 photo CHALLENGE theme is "Texture!"  

 Rules and Regs for this CHALLENGE: 

1.  You can submit up to 5 images taken in the past year with a theme of "Texture!" 

2. They cannot have won previous contests or been exhibited;

3. Images should be jpg files with a maximum of 1600 pixels in the longest dimension;

4. Titles will be file names; and

5. You can bring your images to the meeting on a thumb drive or email them to Susan (sc_miyasaka@outlook.com) by Wednesday October 8 at 4 p.m.  

What is a Challenge?

The purpose of a Photo Challenge is to share what we do, explain how we do it, and get to view others' works, ideas, and creativity without having to decide "which is best" or "which is most favored."  Each member will have one image of his/her choice uploaded to the club's website.
