About Me

After teaching 7th grade math for 13 years at Sioux Center Middle School, I felt called to do ministry and have worked part-time as the Equipping Coordinator at ATLAS of Sioux Center since 2011. After leaving teaching I decided to do some handyman work on the side to supplement my part-time position at ATLAS of SC.

I grew up doing woodworking with my dad who used to sell items at craft shows. I've always enjoyed working with my hands and once I was married and became a homeowner, I found myself really enjoying doing all the tasks that come with home ownership. I finished my own basement from framing, to plumbing & electrical, to drywall, to paint, & trim carpentry. I've since done several other basements, many other smaller renovations, and in 2016, built us a new home.

I really enjoy helping people with their home improvement projects. Over the past several years I've built relationship with other carpenters, plumbers, & electricians. Please contact me if you have a project you need help with. My goal is to serve you well & help make your vision a reality.
