Links

Advertising Archives: searchable archive of print ads. Lots of cereal ads, but no Luminous Spooks!

Cereal Bits: This US site has a huge collection of reproduction boxes for sale. Now if the LS had been made in the US, we'd have the box, I'm sure. Thanks to Kim for this one.

Cereal Offers: Nick Symes (a.k.a. eBay seller cerealmad) has a fantastic website dedicated to UK cereal promotions. If you can help Nick with pictures or information, please get in touch with him. His website is now the place to visit on this topic.

Crater Critters: Australian site. See if you can find a 'Spookey' item here! I liked the Space Age premiums, but as an 'anorak' feel compelled to point out that the 'Saturn' rocket is in fact an Atlas. Pity the LS aren't from Australia, either. Thanks to Stewart for this link.

Glowtec: luminous products. Possibly worth checking out if you want to make your own Spooks

Museum of Brands, Packaging and Advertising: very interesting-looking museum. Their display is part of a larger collection, that of one man, Robert Opie. (I have checked with the museum and the box is not in their collection).

Spooky Things blog: THINGS THAT GLOW IN THE DARK, VINTAGE TOYS OF A SPOOKY NATURE AND OLD-FASHIONED CHILLS... Inactive, but worth a visit IMHO.

retromat - Some projects and interests of retromat's with vintage tech including curios and dead-ends!
