A bad person will also get respect if he is in company of good people

Just like how a thread is worn on head along with the flower garland

Vrita Vrishtihi Samudreshu Vrata Truptasya Bhojanam

Vrita Dhanam Samarthasya Vrita Dheepo Divapi Cha

Rain is waste on Ocean, food is waste for person who is not hungry

Charity is waste for a capable person and Lamp is waste where there is light

Pustakastha Thu Ya Vidya Parahastagatam Dhanam

KaryuaKale Samutpane Na sa Vidya Na Thadanam

Knowledge which is in book and Money given to others

If not handy when needed is neither knowledge nor Money

Sukarthi va tyajeth vidya Vidyarthi va thyajeth sukam

Sukarthinaha kutho vidya Vidyarthinaha kutho sukam

He who is seeking knowledge should give up comfort,

He who is seeking comfort should give up learning knowledge,

As the knowledge seeker can not get comfort and

a comfort seeker can not learn knowledge.

Tanmitramapadi sukhe cha samkrim yaat

yethat trayam jagathi punyakrito labate

He who pleases his parents by his good character is the son,

She who wishes good for her husband is the wife,

He who behaves equally in good and bad times is the friend.

Only people with great fortune get all or any of the three

Paropakaraya Vahanti nadhyaha

Paropakararthamidam shareeram

Vidya dadathi Vinayam

Vinayan dadathi Patratwam

Patratwam dhanamapnothi

Jagath Pitarau Vande Parvati Parameshwaram

As a word and its meaning are inseperable,

So are the Parents of this world, Parvati and Parameshwara,

Keyuraa na Bhushayanti Purusham

Haaraa na Chandrojwalaa

Na snaanam na Vilepanam

Na kusumam naalankrutaa Moordhajaah

Vaanyekaa sam alankaroti Purusham

Yaa sanskrutaa Dhaaryate

Ksheeyante khalu bhushanaani Satatam
