importance of Hastodaka and the Mahima of Yati Brindavanas.
Yati is directly worshipping Sri Hari always owing to the One Lakha Japa of Pranava Mantra: OM NAMO NARAYAANAYYA and very dear and near to Sri Hari When Sri Hari is dear and near means there the Sannidhaana of SriVayudeva Sri Praanadevaru Acharya Sri Madhwaru will be Sannihita at the Sacred Brindavana. As a mark of this Sacred Saligrama, Shankha and Praanadevara idol are placed on the Brindavanas and are worshipped regularly,
Hastodaka is very important. After the Naivedya of Sri Hari we have to perform Vaishwadeva, Naivedya SAMARPANE through Agni Aahuti to all the Gods, Tatvaabhimani Devatas, Rushis and Saptarshis. Then we to offer Hastodaka to our Yatis:
Yati Haste Jalam Dadyaat
Dadyaat Sarvswa Bhunjate
Yatra Yati Bhunjate Harihi Tatra Bhunjate
Taking the water in our hand we have offer Naivedya to Yati with the request to accept this is the HASTODAKA. When Hastodaka is offered, Yatis will accept gladly and eat the whole thing. When and where Yati accepts Sri Hari will accept happily.
SO HASTODAKA IS VERY IMPORTANT.
