Research

My research interests include, among other things, the mathematical, computational and (materials) scientific aspects of phase transformations and  microstructural evolution.

At the moment, I am involved in the study of twinning during mechanical deformation (using molecular dynamics and phase field modelling) and phase field ane dislocation dynamics modelling of eutectoid wire drawing as well as development of phase field models for the study of effect of anisotropies (thermodynamic and kinetic) in microstructures.

In the meanwhile, see here for more information on our research group, open positions, list of publications and downloads.
