My research interests include, among other things, the mathematical, computational and (materials) scientific aspects of phase transformations and microstructural evolution.
At the moment, I am involved in the study of twinning during mechanical deformation (using molecular dynamics and phase field modelling), phase field dislocation dynamics modelling, development of phase field models for the study of effect of anisotropies (thermodynamic and kinetic) in microstructures, Kinetic Monte Carlo, Cellular Automata and phase field modelling of grain growth and recrystallisation, and development of open source codes for phase field modelling -- among other things!
In the meanwhile, see here for more information on our research group, open positions, list of publications and downloads.
