Phaeolus schwenitzii: Ochre yellows, yellow, greens
Getting Set up
So much color!
Red Cortinarius species never disappoint! This is silk.
Center is silk in Phaeolus schweinitzii and right side is silk in Hypomyces lactiflorum.
The pink and orange on the left here from : Hypomyces lactiflorum. The pink in a bath of the dye at a pH of about 9-10 and the orange creamiscle color after dipping in vinegar and water solution.
Omphalotus olivescens with its notorius penchant for refusing to give up its fine deep purple leaves us with t a beautiful grey to the right of the brown pillowcase.
Brown pillowcase with Pisolitus arrhizus, the dyer's puffball, a.k.a. Dead Man's Foot
Oh the glory of it all!
